School Introduction
The school opened in 2016 as a private school with an American-style curriculum. The school later moved to a new building in 2020 and converted its operations to an international school. Today, the school offers an American-style curriculum-based education and occupies five floors on the upper level of the building, a style of school. The school facilities are equipped with the minimum necessary equipment, but there are no large facilities such as playing fields or swimming pools. Despite these facility limitations, the school offers reasonable tuition fees and quality education for its students.
The school encompasses kindergarten (Kindergarten) through high school (Grade 12), and the overall student population is multinational, with students from approximately 30 different countries. Approximately 20% of the students are Malaysian, and the remaining 80% are international students. This percentage is quite high for a school in this price range. Students are able to study with classmates from different cultural backgrounds and receive an education in a multicultural environment.
The school boasts a very high percentage of native English speakers, with 95% of the teaching staff being English speakers and another 90% being American. This high percentage of native English speakers contributes greatly to the students' English proficiency by allowing them to learn in an English-speaking environment. Teachers follow an American-style curriculum, which provides children with an education that fosters critical thinking and creative solutions, as well as high academic achievement.
Rocklin International School provides a quality education despite its limited facilities, with a particular emphasis on learning in an English-speaking environment. The school's multinational student body fosters an international outlook by enabling students to learn while respecting different cultures and values.
